OPEN ENROLLMENT for the 2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR

The public schools of District 27J are open to all children of the district. Any student residing within the boundaries of School District 27J may apply to attend any 27J school that has space available. Most students attend their neighborhood or attendance area school, but the District also offers charter schools, an alternative school, home school support and special programs to serve the needs of each student.
Families who wish to enroll their student in a school other than their attendance area school must complete an Open Enrollment application. Applications for Open Enrollment are accepted for the following school year on a space available basis. Students who are residents of Colorado, but do not reside within School District 27J may apply for enrollment to a school or program in 27J within the Open Enrollment period.
If a family plans to enroll their student in their attendance area school, there is no need to complete the Open Enrollment application. Contact your school to register.

The deadline for consideration for the first round of Open Enrollment requests of Feb. 15 has now passed. New applications will be considered if space is available after the first round of application decisions has been made. Principals will make a decision on the Open Enrollment request by February 22 and will notify parents of the determination.
